History

The Cruise Canada New England Symposium has its roots in New Brunswick, Canada when it began as an initiative of the Atlantic Canada Cruise Association back in 1999. The initiative quickly gained overwhelming support from the cruise lines.

The following year, Cruise the Saint Lawrence Association hosted the second annual Cruise Canada New England Symposium in Montreal, once again inviting all industry representatives to participate. The Cruise Canada New England Alliance decided, that the Symposium will take place each year in May or June, in a region chosen by rotation.
